"The museum, which opened in November 2012, showcases a variety of artwork donated by Tadanori Yokoo. Born in Nishiwaki City in Hyogo Prefecture, he is one of Japan's most successful and internationally recognized graphic designers and artists.
The works are showcased in an optimal setting for as many visitors as possible to appreciate in the refurbished west wing of the former Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Modern Art, designed by Togo Murano. With over 3000 works to view, visitors will gain a profound insight into exactly all that Tadanori Yokoo's art entails."
