This museum located next to "The Carpet Gallery" specializes in handmade carpets. It is the first museum of its kind in Japan, exhibiting valuable Persian carpets made over 100 years ago together with collections of silk road carpets from places as far as Turkey and Iran to the west and Japan and China to the east. There are many related articles exhibited including those about the nomadic life and the process of how carpets are made.
