"Pōai Shiosai Kōen Park" used to be a container berth and transformed into a new waterfront park in April, 2017. The monument "BE KOBE," which has been already a popular spot in Meriken Park, has now also installed at the Pōai Shiosai Kōen Park in July, 2018.The new monument's letters are carved out and can be lit up from the inside at night, creating a mystical atmosphere. At dusk, the shadows of the letters "BE KOBE" are displayed on the ground so you can enjoy the different views of the monument depending on the time of the day.
