This shrine is visited by many people especially worshipping the gods, praying for a safety delivery, and hoping children to have long and prosperous lives. It enshrines four historical figures including Emperor Antoku who has a close connection to Kobe city and three others. About 100 years ago, it was built to enshrine divided soul of main shrine located in Kurume city, Fukuoka prefecture with a request of people centering on a port authority; therefore, it’s also visited to wish for a safe sailing.
