Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens,
a Kobe landmark, is just 10 minutes by ropeway
from the town and offers spectacular views of the city streets.
Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens are Japan’s largest herb gardens with around 75,000 herbs and flowers of about 200 kinds blooming throughout the year.
There are 12 extensive garden areas where visitors are welcomed by seasonal herbs and flowers arranged according to different themes.
Reminiscent of elegant midair stroll, 10 minutes and 1,460m to the top (400m).
With its windows, passengers on the ropeway get an incredible panoramic view of Kobe City as well as some well-known spots like the Nunobiki no Taki Falls and Gohonmatsu Entei (Nunobiki Gohonmatsu Dam), which has been designated as an Important Cultural Property.
Visitors can relax and have a fabulous time in the restaurant serving sumptuous herb-infused dishes, the luxury café lounge and the terrace boasting incredible views.
