The imperial villa Muko Rikyu, constructed in 1914 and painstakingly preserved and expanded ever since, is the centerpiece of this vast park. Among its many jewels are a European-style garden offering views of Osaka Bay, numerous fountains and around 4000 roses of 180 species blooming in spring and autumn within the aristocratic rose garden.. Other elegant flora awaiting your visit year-round include peonies, Japanese irises, red autumn leaves and plum blossoms, giving the park a different look across all four seasons. Sportier or younger visitors, meanwhile, will love the field athletics course, children's forest, and adventure course - there's something for all the family. Please come and check out Suma Rikyu Park and its abundant flowers and greenery.
