This two-story wooden home, built in 1915 by J. R. Drewell, is one of the flagship ijinkan (historical foreign residences) of Kobe. The first floor features a display of tapestries, while upstairs exhibits give visitors an insight into the history of Rhine House and other ijinkan buildings, including anecdotal records of the 1995 Kobe earthquake.
