The Arima Toys & Automata Museum, as its name suggests, is a haven for only the finest toys, celebrating the most inventive ideas and designs from Japan and around the world. Including traditional German toys, its scope includes modern mechanical and string automata (moving mechanical devices), railway models, and tin toys to name but a few, with a collection of around 40,000 items covering all themes showcased on the third to sixth floors.. The fifth floor play space, meanwhile, lets visitors actually play with wooden toys and physically engage with various games. Once you pay admission, you can enter and leave the museum as often as you want on the same day, enjoying your favorite diversions to your heart's content.
