Kobe Muslim Mosque also worldwide famous as “The Miracle Mosque”, was built in 1935. It survived during the WWII and the great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake. It stands as a symbol of Japan's multiculturalism and the peaceful coexistence of various religious and cultural backgrounds in the country and a place of comfort for Muslims living in Japan.
