This site is dedicated to teaching about disaster prevention and passing on the lessons of the Great Hanshin Earthquake to the next generation. The site began offering an illumination display to mark the 20th anniversary of the earthquake as a way of raising awareness and preventing the disaster from fading into obscurity. The lights feature different colors each month based on a particular theme, such as for Valentine's Day, the Pink Ribbon Festival, and more.
