It got cold all at once and it was becoming wintery.

Chartered train × Jazz × Food Tour
Novel! Watch jazz at a private port liner
November 30, before 5 p.m. Before sunset, participants will gather at Port Liner Sannomiya Station.
When I went up to the platform, I was greeted by a jazz band dressed as a station attendant. We will play the song "The track will continue forever" to liven up the mood of everyone waiting for the chartered train.

It was past 5:20 p.m. Finally, get on the chartered train and leave!

The jazz performance in the car is performed by the members of the Kume Hiroshi Quartet. He played four songs including "Let's go by train A" and "March of the Saints".

The chartered vehicle is a 6-car train. The jazz band moves from the sixth car to the first car while playing. When the music you heard in the distance approaches your vehicle, you can see that everyone's tension rises.
After 15 minutes of boarding, the brightness remaining in the sky finally disappeared, and Kobe Airport came into view.

Luxurious dinner at Ravimana Kobe
After getting off at Kobe Airport Station, the group took a bus to the wedding hall "Ravimana Kobe".

Located at the western end of Airport Island, Ravimana Kobe is a wedding venue with a resort feel and a beach. At one of these reception halls, you can have a luxurious dinner as if you were invited to a wedding.

The appetizers that were brought to me at the beginning were very colorful and appetizing.

Appetizers, soups and breads, fish dishes, meat dishes, dessert and coffee (tea), and free drinks. It is truly a full course. Each dish was served, so I was able to enjoy it slowly.

Most of the participants applied for 1~2 people, but as we sat at the round table and had a delicious meal, we got to know each other.

As I was enjoying the meal and conversation, I heard a beautiful tone.
Yes, there is a jazz performance at this dining venue as well. Moreover, it is a different group from the jazz band that played at the Port Liner earlier. Today, there is a vocalist (singer), everyone in the Yumi Mizuno Quartet.

"Tennessee Waltz" and "Harbor Knights" performed 9 songs, including encores. Some people stop eating and listen to the graceful investigation, while others enjoy eating and whispering conversations as luxurious background music.

Jazz and gastronomy. It was a truly relaxing and luxurious time.
Relax in the car on the way home and enjoy the night view.
After eating and watching jazz at Ravimana Kobe, we will return to Sannomiya on the Port Liner again.

On the return trip, there will be no jazz performance in the car. In the quiet car with the lights off, the participants enjoyed the night view from the train window while soaking in the afterglow of the tour.

With a Baumkuchen souvenir!
At the end of the tour, all the participants were given souvenirs.

The contents are Baumkuchen from Euheim. What a complete tour......

At the end of the tour, all the participants looked very relaxed and satisfied.
Jazz, gourmet food, night view, and a private port liner. It was a night where I tasted the charm of Kobe little by little by "taking the good things".
Recommended night view spots in Port Island
This tour is full of the charm of Kobe, but it was actually my first attempt.
There were two jazz performances, so I thought the tour was for cultural promotion, but the first place I approached was the Landscape Policy Division of Kobe City Hall, a department that deals with night views.
Speaking of night views, it is one of the great attractions of Kobe. However, when you hear the word "night view of Kobe", what comes to mind is the view of Meriken Park and the view from Mt. Maya and Kikuseidai.

"Actually, the night view from Port Island is also beautiful, so I want more people to know about it!"
This passionate desire of the Landscape Policy Division became the starting point of this tour. So, what kind of night view can you enjoy on Port Island?
■Port Island North Park
First of all, just across from the Sannomiya side to Port Island, is "Kita Park" in the northeastern part of the island. From here, you can see the dynamic Kobe Bridge.

■Poai Shiosai Park
If you go a little south from the north park, you will find "Poai Shiosai Park" adjacent to Kobe Gakuin University. The port liner "Minatojima" station is the closest.
In 2018, the city's second BE KOBE monument was built, further enhancing the charm of the landscape.

■Kobe Airport
From the observation deck of Kobe Airport, which is the southern end of the city limits, if you look north, you can see the Port Tower and Mt. Ichisho.

Just now, the observation deck is illuminated with Christmas lights, so it's nice to see the lights of the city through the illuminations.

And when I turned to the plane, the illumination was reflected on the acrylic plate for the tour, and I was able to take a fantastic photo!

■Port Terminal Station Platform
From Sannomiya, take the Port Liner to the second "Port Terminal Station". Since it is a station for boarding boats, you may rarely get off.

However, it is surprisingly a hidden gem of a night view spot. Please see, you can see this view from the platform!

Even if you don't go out of the ticket gate, you can see such a Kobe-like scenery from the "station platform", which is probably the only place in the city where you can see such a scenery. You may want to try getting off when you have time.
■Portopia Hotel Observation Deck "Sorafune Kobe" (charged)
There is a fee, but from the rooftop observation deck "Sorafune Kobe" of the Portopia Hotel, you can overlook the city and mountains from the sea of Kobe from a height of 110 meters above the ground.

If you look to the west, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is also perfect. It must be beautiful at dusk.

入場チケットには1ドリンクがついています。Closed during the harsh winter season (2026/1/4~2/28)するのでご注意くださいね。
How is it? There are surprisingly many night view spots in Port Island, right? If you want to see a different night view of Kobe than usual, why not go to Port Island?
We are looking for participants for the next tour!
