VISIT KOBE

This is a free public wireless LAN service provided by Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd.
It is available at approximately 460 locations in the city, including restaurants.

• Supported languages: Japanese, English, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Korean, Thai
• Connection time: 24-hour access

*Connection can be made repeatedly as many times as necessary.
With some access points that support OpenRoaming, you only need to perform the setup once, and the connection will be established automatically from the second time onward, with no limit to the connection time or number of connections.

This service can be used with devices (laptop, tablets, smartphones, etc.) equipped with a wireless LAN that meets Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac) standards.

• STEP1 Select SSID “KOBE Free Wi-Fi” on the Wi-Fi setup screen.
• STEP2 Launch your Internet browser (or redisplay the page)
• STEP3 You will be automatically redirected to the Terms of Use screen. Select “SNS Account Authentication” and enter your ID and password*1, or select “Email Address Authentication” and enter your email address*2.
• STEP4 You will be able to use the Internet *3

*1 You can use Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Google, and Yahoo!
*2 During the “E-mail Address Authentication” process, you must click the URL in the e-mail sent to the e-mail address you entered within 5 minutes to authenticate by registering this account.
*3 The encrypted Wi-Fi network “KOBE Free Wi-Fi_Key” is also available separately. Details on how to connect are provided in the body of the e-mail inviting you to this registration, which you will receive after the e-mail address authentication in STEP 3 above.

• STEP1 Select SSID “KOBE Free Wi-Fi” on the Wi-Fi setting screen
• STEP2 Launch your Internet browser (or redisplay the page)
• STEP3 Agree to the “Terms of Use” and proceed to the Identity Confirmation page
• STEP4 After identity verification is complete, download and install the profile *1
• STEP5 Internet access will be available

*1 For the first time, select the OpenRoaming-compliant SSID “KOBE_Free_Wi-Fi_OpenRoaming” to connect; for the second and subsequent times, you will be automatically connected to OpenRoaming-compliant access points in Japan and overseas.

1. Is the “Wi-Fi” setting of the device you wish to connect to turned on? (Settings screen)
2. Is “KOBE Free Wi-Fi” displayed on the “Settings” screen and is it selected?
3. After performing steps 1 through 2 above, is your Internet browser running?
   If it is already running, try reloading the browser again after steps 1-2 above.
   (e.g.) Try displaying a search site from your favorites, reloading the screen, etc.
   → This will display the “KOBE Free Wi-Fi” connection screen.
4. After the above step 3, have you authenticated with your Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Google, or Yahoo!
   →Authentication is required. If you do not have any of the various SNS accounts, please authenticate with your e-mail address.
5. If you still cannot connect even after checking 1-4 above
