"Waraikoro-gerende" @Rokkosan Snow Park

Rokkosan Snow Park is hosting an exciting new event themed around turning the usually negative experience of tumbling into a positive one, under the catchy slogan "Waraikoro-gerende" .
*"Waraikoro-gerende" is a coined word that combines "Warai (laughter)", "Korogeru (tumble)", and "Gerende (ski slope)".

Visitors can enjoy unique winter activities such as "Yukidama Sumo," in which they wrestle in a bumper balls, and "Snow Bowling," in which they roll a 1.5-meter-wide snowball.
Also, in the popular snow play event in this park “Sorigotatsu,” visitors glide on the snow while sitting in a kotatsu. A kotatsu is a table-type heater covered with a futon that has been used in Japan for centuries.

Why not enjoy winter sports and special events at Rokkosan Snow Park this season?
