Sumaura Park
Sumaura Park is a scenic spot, formed from the slopes of Mt. Tekkai and Mt. Hachibuse, that offers views of Awaji Island and the coastal pinewoods. With about 3,200 cherry trees, it is one of Kobe’s top destinations for cherry blossom viewing.
Tourist facilities include the Sumaura Sanjo Yuen Amusement Park and a sea fishing park on the adjacent coast.
This location also marks the starting point of the Mt. Rokko Traverse and offers a range of hiking options as well.
