Hilltop House
Of all the Ijinkan open to the public, there is only one with an Oriental atmosphere.
Through the doors, you will find valuable Chinese furniture from the Ming dynasty (1368-1615) and Qing dynasty (1616-1911), accessories and works of art in an unmissably extravagant setting.
Savor the chic and unified Chinese modernist décor of each room, such as pots and jars in jade-green and more vivid colors, rosewood salon sets inlaid with mother-of-pearl, and four-poster beds.
Another popular power spot is found here. Passing between the komainu (guardian lion-dog statues) at the entrance to the courtyard is said to increase one’s success in romantic endeavors.
