Rhine House
Rhine House, built in 1915, is a two-story clapboard wooden house painted with oil-based paints with open-air veranda and bay windows – all features preserved in the style of a Meiji-period Ijinkan.
Rhine House offers free admission and features exhibits where visitors can learn about the historical background of why many foreign residences (Ijinkan) were built in Kitano district.
