The Nada region, in eastern Kobe, is particularly ideal for making sake.Discover two of the most famous sake venues, Shushinkan and Kiku-Masamune, with a delicious lunch on site in-between. After an inside look at how it is made, tasting and the chance to buy souvenirs, we’ll visit the disaster museum chronicling the Great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake of 1995 and stories of tragedy, but also survival and recovery. Finally, we return to the theme of delicious drinks and end our tour in a local craft beer brewery!

A wide range of sublime sake offerings round off what promises to be an unforgettable dining experience. Expect to pay 2,000 to 4,000 yen for lunch.

The original building in 1659, later relocated to today’s site in 1960, showcases items collectively designated as important tangible folk cultural property by the national government.
