The Former Residence of Sanji Muto (Former "Kanebo Maiko Club"), also known as the Old Kanebo Maiko Club, was built by Muto Sanji (1867-1934) at Maiko Beach in 1897. Muto Sanji is said to be the restorer of Kanebo, and was also an active member of the House of Representatives. Located within Maiko Park, this home is a stone's throw from the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world at nearly 4km. Why not enjoy the scenery of the straits as you enjoy a glimpse into yesteryear in this Western-style pavilion in Japan.
