On the southern side of the park you can discover an eight-meter waterfall called Tsutsumi-ga-taki or Tsutsumi Falls. Its name comes from the patter-patter light sound of the waterfalls which is very similar to the beat of a traditional Japanese drum. The relaxing sound of the water, the natural setting, and the pleasant smell of the surrounding forest makes it a perfect place for a stroll or just a restful time for you and your loved ones. During early summer, you can spot fireflies at dawn, in spring you can enjoy the beautiful pink blossoms of the blooming cherry trees (sakura), in autumn, take in gorgeous foliage with an assortment of yellow and red autumn leaves for a truly magical sight.
