Sawanotsuru Sake Museum

The closest sake museum to Sannomiya and Shin Kobe stations, this complex is a former sake brewery; now converted into a facility that showcases sake brewing tools to visitors. It has also been designated an important tangible folk-cultural property of Hyogo Prefecture. Materials on show give genuine insight into how and with what tools sake is brewed, and getting up close and touching is also welcome! Another highlight is free admission, while the adjacent museum shop sells a wide range of souvenirs and offers free Japanese sake tasting.
