: Suma is deeply connected with Japanese history and has Sumaura Park, Sumadera temple, and many ruins.

(Tarumi & Maiko)

: When talking about Tarumi, most people think of Marine Pia Kobe Mitsui Outlet Park, a popular destination with boutiques, outdoor shops, eateries, variety shops, and more within an expansive seaside premises. The neighborhood between Tarumi and Suma stations has many tempting cafes and restaurants with atmosphere.
Further to the west is Pearl Bridge (Akashi Kaikyo Bridge) , the world's longest suspended bridge that connects Maiko with Awaji Island. The beautiful form and the majestic shape are a must to see. Maiko Marine Promenade, constructed under the bridge, and Goshikizuka Mounded Tomb are great locations to soak up the view.
